This year the award took place on 26 and 27 May at the Swisstech Convention Center in Lausanne (Switzerland), during “The Brain Forum Annual Conference”.

Being among the top 5 finalists of the competition, during the last two days we had and exhibition booth, pitch training, networking area/dinner with the jury and investors, and the possibility to win for a cash prize awards.

Unfortunately we are not among the winners, but what is the lessons we learned?

First of all, we believe that everything has a lesson and that participating in a “competition” like this one just for the sake of the competition makes no sense, especially for us.

The Brain Forum provided us excellent opportunities, such as meeting private and institutional investors, venture capitalists, experts and scientists in the brain research field. Second, it gave us the possibility to increase our media exposure thanks to the engagement on social medias and interviews before and after the event.

Last but not least, it helped us to understand how to improve our way of presenting our project.
